Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal – Commencement of BS-MS(Dual Degree) in Engineering Sciences 2017 Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal Commencement of BS-MS (Dual Degree) in Engineering Sciences at IISER Bhopal Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal is happy to announce the start of BS-MS (Dual Degree) programme with a ‘major’ in Chemical Engineering (www.iiserb.ac.in/che) and Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (www.iiserb.ac.in/eecs) from the August 2017 semester. In addition, the Institute has already been offering BS-MS (Dual Degree) with a “major’ in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Mathematics, and Physics. Admission to the BS-MS (Dual Degree) with a ‘major’ in Engineering Sciences will be through the Joint IISER Admissions 2017 (www.iiseradmission.in). Students admitted to IISER Bhopal will choose a ‘major’ at the end of the fourth semester of their study, as per Institute norms. The Engineering Science programmes at IISER Bhopal are science-centric and are designed to enhance and strengthen the science-engineering-society relationships. In addition to core engineering topics, these programmes will cover vast areas of inter and multi-disciplinary subjects, thus preparing the students to pursue careers in academia and industry that are at the interface of several areas.
