HIT Delhi is a research-led educational Institute established by Government of NCT, Delhi. INT Delhi is launching a focused collaborative PhD program in the areas of biometrics, data management, and software engineering with esteemed partner groups/institutes across the world. Some aspects of this collaborative PhD program are: Collaborators are from IBM India Research Lab, Microsoft Research Bangalore, Fraunhofer Institute of Experimental Software Engineering, University Polytechnic Milan, Osaka University, Saarland University, Michigan State University, West Virginia University, University of Sassari, The Honkong Polytechnic University, and University of Aizu. A student will have one supervisor from INT Delhi and may have a co-supervisor from the partnering group/institution. During the PhD program, the student is likely to spend 3 months to 1 year with the co-supervisor at the partner group / institution. Attractive compensation: the stipend in first year is Rs 20,000 per month; 2nd to 4th year it can be upto Rs 25,000 per month. While at the partner group or Institution, the partner will pay the stipend as per the norms. Further, IIITD will provide financial support to present papers in top national and International conferences.
