IDRBT – Institute For Development And Research In Banking Technology – Admission For Ph.D Programme IDRBT, the premier Institute of Banking Technology in the country, spearheads efforts in providing state-of-the-art technologies for the Banking and Financial Sector. The Institute interfaces Research and Development, Academics, Executive Education and Practice. Consequent upon the recommendations of an Expert Committee headed by Dr. C. Rangarajan, Chairman, Prime Minister?s Economic Advisory Council, IDRBT has initiated ambitious plans to scale up its research and academic activities. The Institute has been offering a Ph.D programme in collaboration with the University of Hyderabad (A Central University) since 1999. The NAAC has awarded “A” Grade with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.89 on 4.0 scale to the University. IDRBT has been recently granted Associate Institution Status by the University of Hyderabad for undertaking research independently at IDRBT for the award of Ph.D. Degree in the areas of Computer Sciences and Information Technology.
