International Cartographic Association ICA Scholarship Program International Cartographic Association (ICA) is organizing the 29th International Cartographic Conference (ICC) in Tokyo, Japan from 15th to 20th July, 2019. The information and important dates for this conference are given below for information: 1. ICA Scholarships are offered: • to foster academic research in the domain of Cartography and GIScience; • to establish contact between young scientists and ICA Commissions; • to support young scientists to be able to actively contribute to ICA activities and events, especially such as International Cartographic Conferences; • to establish opportunities for young scientists within ICA publications and conferences. The ICA Scholarship is available to support those young scientists who would like to actively contribute to and participate in the upcoming 2019 ICC. The deadline for the submission of applications to attend ICC 2019 is 1 February 2019. The deadline for the submission of applications to attend on Commission workshops held in conjunction with ICC 2019 is 1 June 2019. For further details, see the ICA website 2.
