Joint Entrance Examination 2006 (JEE-2006) in Universities and Colleges in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2006 (JEE-2006) For Admission To Undergraduate Engineering / Technological / Architecture / Dairy and Medical / Dental / Veterinary & Fishery Sciences in Universitie and Colleges in West Bengal Eligibility : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch : Higher Secondary (10+2) with English, Vernacular (or any other fifth subject), Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, Need not be a resident of West Bengal. Medical / Dental / Veterinary & Fishery Sciences : Higher Secondary with English, Vernacular (or any other fifth subject), Physics, Chemistry, Biological Sciences. A minimum of 50 percent marks (40 percent for SC/ST/PH) and resident of West Bengal for 10 years without break. Date of Examination : April 22 and 23, 2006 Test Centres : Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Agartala and different district towns of West Bengal. Pattern : All question papers in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biological Sciences will be of two hours duration. All questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type. How to Apply : The Prospectus and Application Forms will be available at the different Branches of UNITED BANK OF INDIA in West Bengal, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Agartala on Cash payment of Rs.450/- or by post obtained from the Board Office on application with an additional fee off Rs.50/- by Demand Draft drawn in favour of “WEST BENGAL BOARD OF EXAMINATION” along with two self addressed slips of size 2″ X 5″.
