About this Scholarship
The K. C. Mahindra Education Trust (KCMET) was founded by the late K. C. Mahindra in 1953 with a vision to transform lives through education.
KCMET has undertaken various education initiatives, providing financial assistance and recognition to deserving and needy students across age groups and income strata.
Since inception, these initiatives have made a difference in the lives of over 1,376,327 students through scholarships, livelihood training programmes, educational support, and financial aid, amounting to more than USD 136.30 million.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate should have passed SSC/HSC or equivalent examinations in the 10th/12th standard with more than 60% marks.
- Candidate should have secured admission in a government or any other recognised Polytechnic Institute for diploma course.
- Only first year candidates are eligible to apply.
- The candidate should belong to a family with low yearly income.
