Management Development Institute-Admissions 2012 Management Development Institute Admissions Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) (Energy Management) 2012 The School of Energy Management was started by MDI Gurgaon with the support of Ministry of Power & USAID. The School offers PGDM (Energy Management) approved by AICTE and accredited by AMBA for those aspiring to be a part of the vibrant Power Sector. This is a 15-month duration programme with 12 months in class followed by 3 months off campus on the dissertation project work. Objectives of the Programme: * Develop talent for Power / Energy Sector and equip participants with knowledge in the area of managing electricity business. * Acquaint participants with national and international best practices and innovations in participative models. * Facilitate awareness, understanding and implementation of key provisions of enactments relating to Power / Energy Sector. Eligibility: * A minimum of 3 years Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by AIU/AICTE as eligible for Post Graduate studies in Management * Minimum 5 years of post qualification executive work experience in the power and/or allied sectors as on 31 March. 2012 Admission Procedure: Candidates will have to appear for a screening test conducted by MDI Gurgaon or use their CAT 2011 score (at least 80 percentile) or GMAT score (>650). GMAT should not have been taken before 1 January. 2010 and not later than 31 January 2012. * Candidates applying on the basis of CAT/GMAT scores will not be required to take the MDI test. * Date of the Test: Sunday, 12 February 2012 * Centres of the Test: Gurgaon, Bengaluru. Mumbai, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar. Short listed candidates will have to appear for a personal interview on the day of the exam.
