Basic Course: (Duration: Six Weeks) Comprehensive Natural Disaster Risk Management Framework – 4 Courses: (i) May 3-June 12,2010 (ii) July 26-September, 2010 (iii) September 13-October 23,2010 (iv) January 10-February 19,2011 Specialized Courses: (Duration : Four Weeks each) * Community Based Disaster Risk Management -2 Courses: (i) June 21-July 17,2010 (ii) December 6,2010-January 1,2011 * Safer Cities – 2 Courses: (i) May 24-June 19,2010 (ii) February 7-March 4,2011 * Financial Strategies for Managing Economic Impacts of Disasters (I) November 22-December 24,2010 * Damage & Reconstruction Needs Assessment (i) August 2-August 28,2010 * Climate Change & Disaster Management – 2 Courses: (i) June 14-July 10,2010 (ii) January 3-January 29,2011 * Earthquake Risk Mitigation -2 Courses: (i) Septembers-October 1,2010 (ii) February 28-March 26,2011 * Risk Sensitive Land Use Planning (i) October 4-October 30,2010 METHODOLOGY: Course materials shall be provided in CD and shall also be available On Line.
