Programme 2011-2012 NATIONAL LAW SCHOOL & JUDICIAL ACADEMY, ASSAM ADMISSION NOTICE 2011-12 Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 6th June, 2011 The National Law School and Judicial Academy, Assam is a premier Law University established by the National Law School and Judicial Academy, Assam Act, 2009 and is the youngest member of the existing group of Notional Law Universities of India. The Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court is the Chancelfor of the National Law School. The University invites applications for five years’ integrated B.A, LL.B (Hons.) Programme for the academic year 2011-12, commencing from 1st August, 2011. Eligibility: Senior Secondary Schoo Examination (10+2 system) or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate (those who have appeared for the examination in March/April, 2011, may also apply). Age Limit: Below 20 years as on 1st August, 2011 (23 years in case of SC/ST candidates). Total Seats: 60. Category-wise Seats: General: 47, Scheduled Castes: 4, Scheduled Tribes (Plain): 6, Scheduled Tribes (Hills): 3. 25% of the total seats wifl be reserved For students from Assam. Admissions will be strictly on merit through an all India entrance examination to be conducted at Bengaluru, Bhopai, Cuttack.
