The main aim of the course is to develop the pool of technically trained manpower readily available for recruitment to the Indian Power Sector. The course enhances the knowledge and skill of the graduate engineers sponsored by the Power Utilities & fresh Graduate engineers. About the course: The course is of 40 weeks duration & covers all aspects of Hydro Power Plant Engineering including O&M, erection, commissioning, management, Distribution of Electricity & Tariff. Eligibility: Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized Engineering College/ University with minimum of 60% marks. Age Limit: Maximum 27 years as on 15.02.2008. No age limit for sponsored candidates. Total Seats: 60 (Sixty). Reservation for SC/ST/PH is applicable as per Govt. norms.
