The Pradhama Shiksha Yojana Pre Matric Scholarships 2020 are designed to provide financial assistance and support to eligible school students.
This scholarship program aims to help students overcome financial hurdles, enabling them to focus on their studies and successfully complete their pre-matric education.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: The scholarship is open to Indian nationals.
- Location: The scholarship is now open for Kerala and Tamilnadu only.
- Class Level: Applicants pursuing their class 1 to 10 are eligible for PSY Pre Matric scholarships.
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates should have passed a qualifying exam in the current year 2020. Applicants who have passed earlier are not eligible.
- Other Scholarships: Students receiving a scholarship from any other sources are not eligible for the Scholarship.
- Reservations: 30% of Scholarship is reserved for girl students. 20% of Scholarship is reserved for disabled students.
- Selection Criteria: Applicants enrolled in a full-time study program will be considered. The scholarship is open in 3 categories, and the qualifying academic qualification is as follows:
- Category A – 50% aggregate in class 1st to 5th
- Category B – 60% aggregate in class 5th to 10th
- Category C – 50% aggregate for students with disabilities
