About this Scholarship
The Professor Ghanashyam Dash Scholarship for Higher Education has been instituted by IMFA in memory of renowned historian Late Prof Ghanashyam Dash.
The scholarship is awarded by the Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation to facilitate higher education in the field of Engineering, Medicine and Liberal Arts at any Govt College or Institution recognised by the UGC.
The scholarship covers 90% of the academic fee and related expenses for the entire duration of a 4 years course, subject to an annual limit of ` 1,00,000 (one lakh) per recipient.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be a meritorious student from an economically disadvantaged family.
- Be permanently domiciled in Odisha.
- Not have availed any other financial support at the time of application or subsequently if selected.
- Be pursuing higher education in the field of Engineering, Medicine or Liberal Arts at a Govt College or Institution recognised by the UGC.
