Eligibility Criteria

A. Applicants who can provide proof of receiving Letter of acceptance from a Slovenian Institute of Higher Education shall be considered for nomination. Among the candidates satisfying criteria A above, points based on the following parameters will be awarded to each candidate, which will be used for further short listing for nomination from India. Points based on the following parameters will be awarded to candidates, which will be used for further shortlisting for nomination from India: i. Candidates who demonstration a real capacity to make a difference to home country: * Will return to India on completion of course and work in India for at least 2 years: 4 points * Undecided/no: 0 points ii. Candidate is from a disadvantaged background or to promote diversity: * ST/ SC/ NC-OBC/ PwD/ EWS: 4 points * Female/ Transgender: 2 points * Others: 0 points EWS: Annual family income Rs. 4.5 Lakh or below, which is same as the income criteria for the PM – USP Central Sector Scholarship Scheme for College and University Students. (iii) Academic merit: * QS Ranking 10 on below: 4 points * QS Ranking 10-20: 2 points * QS Ranking 20-50: 1 point * QS Ranking above 50: 0 points Note: overall ranking/ subject ranking as per latest ranking year will be considered Cumulative points total calculated based on above parameters would be used to decide nominations.
