Shri Ramnath Devasthan Charities Trust Scholarship 2026

The Shri Ramnath Devasthan Charities Trust was the vision and creation of our visionary senior Mahajans. They started this trust with a nucleus of Rs. 3,000/- The Mahajans in their large heartedness felt that the poor and down trodden, the sick, the suffering widows and the poor who were unable to do routine rituals such as thread ceremony (Munj) needed to be helped. They also decided to help the wards of some unfortunate amongst us towards their education and health. Indeed with this noble idea in mind the subsequent trustees and committees achieved a lot with the support and encouragement from our benevolent Mahajans / Kulavis. From the year 1982 onwards every year scholarships have been given to meritorious students who are poor but deserving from Goa, Karnataka and neighboring Maharashta. Presently Rs.8.10 Lakh worth scholarships are distributed amongst about 250 candidates who are pursuing their education in the field of Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy, BBA, Polytechnic etc and in the years to come trust intends to cover other Branches of education also. Though it is the endeavour of Shri Ramnath Devasthan Charities to provide free education / scholarships to more and more needy students, the desired cannot be achieved as the cost of fees of some of the fields in education are very beautiful exorbitant.\ Scholarships
