University of Kent – The GREAT Scholarship The GREAT Scholarship Pound 5,000 The UK is a world leader in many areas of education including engineering, science, art and design, business and management, law and finance. The UK’s reputation and legacy as a world centre for scientific research makes it a magnet for some of the very best thinkers in the world. With only one per cent of the world’s population, the UK is responsible for eight per cent of global scientific publications. Together with the British Council we are delighted to offer 5 dedicated scholarships of Pound 5000, to students from India applying to our Taught Masters Degrees in Art and Architecture,Computing and Electronic Engineering, English, History and Journalism, Law and International Relations and Mathematics and Actuarial Science. The University of Kent has a long tradition of welcoming international students from around the world and in particular India, and is pleased to be working in partnership with the British Council this year. Criteria Open to students from India only Applicants must have received a conditional or unconditional offer on one of the taught masters degrees below by the 1st July 2017: * Architecture * Arts * Computing * Electronics and Digital Arts * English * History * International Studies * Journalism * Law * Mathematics and Actuarial Science * Politics and International Relations How to apply There is no separate application form to complete. Applicants from India holding and accepting conditional and unconditional offers by 1st July 2017 will be considered for the scholarship. Awards will be made on academic merit and relevant experience. Scholarships will be confirmed by Kent University’s International Office by the beginning of August.
