Vidya Jyoti Scholarship For PG Courses An Initiative Of Rishi And Milan Khosla Foundation About Vidya Jyoti Scholarship For PG Courses An Initiative Of Rishi And Milan Khosla Foundation Scholarship Name : Vidya Jyoti Scholarship For PG Courses An Initiative Of Rishi And Milan Khosla Foundation 22-23 Description Vidya Jyoti Scholarship For Post Graduate Courses An Initiative Of Rishi And Milan Khosla Foundation In Partnership With Govt Of Uttarakhand (22-23) Vidya Jyoti Scholarship is a financial assistance programme for needy and meritorious girl students from Uttarakhand location supported by the Rishi and Milan Khosla Foundation Rishi and Milan Khosla Foundation is a private family foundation created with a vision to support innovative ideas and projects around the world which deal with some of the most significant challenges facing society. The founders, Rishi and Milan Khosla, have decided to initially focus on four core issues that are very important to them: Early Childhood Development, Female Empowerment, the Environment and Climate Change, and Medical Research and Healthcare. Rishi Khosla believes that women in India face several challenges in its social mobility due to systemic barriers and structural factors. There is a significant gap in female pursuing higher education particularly in backward states and in cases of women from socio-economically underprivileged backgrounds and difficult terrains. Considering the need of gender advancement, Rishi and Milan Khosla Foundation has decided to provide scholarships to girls to improve gender equity in higher education in difficult areas. This scholarship is with collaboration of Government of Uttarakhand to help needy and meritorious girl students through financial assistance who are unable to afford quality education due their socio-economic conditions and higher fee structure. This scholarship would encourage them to counter their financial constraints and pursue academic excellence and career opportunities.

Criteria Qualification criteria : Minimum 75% in Class 12, Minimum 60% in Graduation, Gender : Female Eligible State : UTTARAKHAND . Scheme is available to only student whose family income is less than 600000.00 Financial Year 2022-2023 Start Date From 24/09/2022 Valid Upto 30/10/2022 Scholarship Amount (INR) 35000.00
