The School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi (SPA D) is an apex premier educational institution imparting education at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in architecture, planning and allied fields. It is an Institute of National Importance under an Act of Parliament, Ministry of Education, Government of India. The school has 12 departments of studies and has been in existence for over 75 years now.

Our institution has always stood at the forefront of architectural and planning education in India, consistently producing graduates who excel in their fields. The invitations to prospective recruiting Companies/Organizations shall be sent by the Placement Office (Faculty In-charge) or the Placement Cell (a body of Student Representatives from each Department guided by their respective Faculty Mentors). All relevant information related to Placement Drive shall be shared with the prospective recruiters along with these invitations.The interested recruiters shall fill a Job Notification Form (JNF) containing all the required details about the placement.

School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi takes pride in working closely with the recruiters and constantly strives for making this interaction mutually rewarding. The Placement cell at SPA, New Delhi, is actively engaged in facilitating placements of all those who opt to go for the same. The strengths and skills of students in PG and UG programmes, are outlined in the e-brochures of all the departments, displayed on the school website.

The School provides systematic exposure to the students to the strong fundamentals of various subjects and enables them to align themselves in accordance with the ever-changing demands of the profession. The rigorous coursework, and participation of the students in competition projects, research programmes and extra-curricular activities, develops their analytical as well as leadership abilities required for excelling in the professional field.
