<p>For enrollment in the M.Tech course, candidates need to appear for GATE or AP PGECET Common Entrance Exam. To gain admission to the MBA and MCA programs, candidates must appear for the ICET. Candidates seeking admission to the diploma programs need to obtain a valid score on the AP POLYCET Entrance Exam. The admission process should take place online.</p>

<p>Admission to the B.Tech program is based on the AP EAPCET Common Entrance Exam and the state counseling process. Candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board in relevant subjects. <h3 id="3">SIETK B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2026</h3>

<ul>
<li>A pass in the Intermediate Examination or appearance in the 2nd year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) conducted by the A.P. Board of Intermediate Education, with appropriate optional subjects or its equivalent.</li>
<li>A diploma examination pass or an appearance at the 3rd-year Diploma Examination in Engineering, conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, A.P., or its equivalent, is required. Diploma candidates may apply only for B.E., B.Tech., or B.Arch. Courses.</li>
<li>Students appearing for the entrance test must pass their qualifying examination for final admission.</li>
</ul>

<h3 id="4">SIETK B.Tech Selection Criteria 2026</h3>

<li>70% of the B.Tech seats are allotted based on merit in APEAPCET.</li>
<li>30% of the seats are earmarked for Management Quota candidates (Category B).</li>
<li>15% of the total seats are reserved for PIO/NRI candidates.</li>
<li>10% of the intake is reserved for diploma holders admitted into the second year through lateral entry based on ECET merit.</li>
</ul>

<h3 id="5">SIETK B.Tech Admission Procedure</h3>

<li>Admissions are made through a common entrance test (APEAPCET) conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, along with other engineering colleges in the state.</li>
<li>Candidates qualifying for lateral entry (Diploma holders) are admitted in the second year of B.Tech through ECET.</li>
<li>Separate provisions are available for Management Quota (CAT-B) and PIO/NRI candidates under their respective seat categories.</li>
