Smt Gangabai Khivaraj Ghodawat Kanya Mahavidyalaya- [GKGKM]

Smt. Gangabai Khivaraj Ghodawat Kanya Mahavidyalaya is a minority institute run by Latthe Education Society, which was established in the memory of Late Annasaheb Latthe. This Society strives to develop the state of education in the Maharashtra state and has established many institutes of primary, secondary and higher learning.

The society is very much inspired by Jain philosophy of ‘Tri-Ratnas’ and these principles are passed on to the ones enrolled in the society’s institutes, thus acquainting them with traditional and modern education. The institute was established with a view to provide the girl-students of Jaysingpur with first-class education for enhancing their overall development; prepare them to face social challenges and become better citizens of the society. This college gave an opportunity to the women of the surrounding rural areas of Jaysingpur to continue their higher education.
