Central library is enriched with sufficient quantity of technical books, journals, reference volumes etc. that are required for learning and teaching of all disciplines. It gives support to the educational & research programs by providing physical & intellectual access to information which consists of Reference Section, Journal Section, Reading Hall, Digital library section, Multimedia Facility, Stack-Room etc.

In central library we have around 7500 number of books. The library subscribed 25 national journals and magazines along with 15 international journals.

DELNET was started at the India International Centre Library in January 1988 and was registered as a society in 1992. It was initially supported by the National Information System for Science and Technology (NISSAT), Department of Scientific and Industrial Reseach, Government of India. It was subsequently supported by the National Informatics Centre, Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India.

DELNET has been established with the prime objective of promoting resource sharing among the libraries through the development of a network of libraries. It aims to collect, store, and disseminate information besides offering computerised services to users, to coordinate efforts for suitable collection development and also to reduce unnecessary duplication wherever possible.

ScienceDirect is a leading full-text scientific database offering journal articles and book chapters from more than 2,500 peer-reviewed journals and more than 11,000 books. There are currently more than 11 million articles/chapters, a content base that is growing at a rate of almost 0.5 million additions per year. Elsevier has digitized as much of the pre 1995 journal owned-content as possible, bringing articles from as far back as 1823 (The Lancet) to the desktop. In addition, since 2003, many authors have been submitting extra value-added content associated with the research, such as audio and video files, datasets and other supplementary content, effectively accelerating research beyond the print format.
