Edinburgh Napier University

Edinburgh Napier University traces its roots back to 1964 when it was established as Napier Technical College, paying homage to the renowned Scottish mathematician John Napier. Initially, it welcomed a modest cohort of 800 students. Over the years, the institution evolved and expanded, eventually attaining university status in 1992 under the name Napier University. In 2009, it underwent a rebranding, adopting its current name, Edinburgh Napier University.

With its main campuses situated in Merchiston, Craiglockhart, and Sighthill, the university has become a prominent fixture in Edinburgh's academic landscape. Today, it boasts a vibrant and diverse student body of over 19,500 individuals hailing from 140 different countries.
