English requirements
Minimum English language proficiency requirements for international applicants at Leeds Trinity University:
- Undergraduate Programs:
- IELTS Academic: Minimum overall band score of 6.0 (with no component below 5.5).
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 72 to 79.
- PTE Academic: Minimum overall score of 59.
- Duolingo English Test (DET): Minimum score of 105.
- Postgraduate Programs:
- IELTS Academic: Minimum overall band score of 6.0 to 6.5 (depending on the program).
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 79 to 88.
- PTE Academic: Minimum overall score of 59 to 64.
- Duolingo English Test (DET): Minimum score of 105 to 115.
- Class XII English Waiver: Students achieving 65% or higher in English in Class XII from major Indian boards (CBSE, CISCE, Maharashtra, Kerala, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, etc.) may be exempt from formal English test requirements for eligible courses.
