We take the opportunity to present you the placement & counseling cell of University of Kota. The cell is formed with a vision to educate, enrich, empower and enhance employability of its students. It holds the responsibility of overseeing the placements of the University. Its aim is to help the students to find the jobs they are looking for and also provide facilities to the companies to conduct their recruiting procedure. The cell is working with a close coordination of the faculty and provides an opportunity to the students in getting Industrial training and provides a platform for students seeking recruitment to interact with possible recruiters. The cell invites companies related to marketing, software, chemicals, builders and other recruiters to be a part of the placement process. The placement cell has been constantly working in coordination with its faculties, external advisors and recruiters. The placement cell is guided by set rules and principles strive to maintain warm and healthy relation with the companies. The placement office serves to bridge the gap between a job-aspirant and a prospective employer, at the same time helps the students plan their careers by providing in-depth information about the industries which approach the University. The University provides an environment for a holistic personality development. Resource persons and professionals from the field of communication and interpersonal skills are invited to equip our students with necessary soft skills required to face interviews in today's competitive world. Such training exposure gives our students a competitive edge in today's global employment market. The cell is also, providing assistance in the preparation of the resume upon student request. In addition, a bulletin board is maintained with job announcements and career opportunities. Students' personal resumes are maintained for alumni. These services are provided at no cost to the student. The cell emphasis upon to create a formal training program for all the students in the mode of Summer Internship. Several advising options are available to the students under one roof of the placement cell.

For recruitment at the University the placement cell shall be organized a Placement Drive during the session. In placement procedure of campus recruitment student appear on the basis of percentage criteria decided by the company/recruiters in campus drive. After fulfilling the requirement the student appear in the written test, after clearing the written examination student appear in group discussion round, short listed student go through the technical interview and personal interview rounds. The dress code is given to the student at the time of campus placement all require to come in formals. The PPT (Pre-Placement Talks) provides an opportunity to the recruiting companies and the students to interact. Presentation by the companies about themselves (history, growth potential, future opportunity, etc.) and jobs available (content, compensation package, location, etc.) gives every detail to each aspiring student making choice for their career. Companies schedules the PPT before the date decided for the final round of selection. They also send promotional materials to the University prior to PPT.
