About the Institution
Uttarakhand Ayurved University (UAU) is the only AYUSH University in Uttarakhand established in 2009 at Dehradun by the Government of Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand Ayurved University was established to promote learning, teaching, and applications of basic sciences in the field of AYUSH and evidence-based medicine. The university offers various academic courses across seven faculties namely Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Siddha, Yoga and Naturopathy, Bio-Medical Sciences, and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
UAU has four campuses namely the Faculty of Ayurveda (Main Campus), Rishikul. Gurukul, and Kotdwar Campus. The university has 19 affiliated colleges imparting education in the fields of Ayurvedic, Homoeopathic, and Unani Sciences.
