The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is also affiliated with the Association of Indian Universities.
Courses Offered
WBUHS offers undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses in several health science fields. These include Orthodontics, Physiotherapy, Nursing, and Dentistry.
The university also offers diploma courses. These include Counselling Psychology, Radiography Diagnostic, Child Health, and Gynaecology Obstetrics.
