Kamala Nehru College admission to both UG and PG courses is based on scores obtained in the CUET examination. The admission process includes appearing for the CUET examination and then applying in the CSAS seat allotment. Registration for admission to the college starts after CUET result declarations. Kamala Nehru College admission process consists of multiple steps, starting from registering for the entrance exam and ending with the selection of the course and college. Important steps during the admission process at the college are given below.
Step 1: Register for the Entrance Examination
Delhi University admissions for all courses at affiliated colleges, faculties, and departments are based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. To apply for admission at Delhi University, candidates must register for the following entrance examinations:

Step 3: Registration on DU CSAS Portal and Filling of Courses and College Preferences
Candidates who qualify in the entrance examination must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University for seat allotment. Once the registration is done, candidates have to fill out their college and course preferences. Step 4: Seat Allocation
The seat allocation for all courses will be done in multiple rounds. Delhi University will release merit lists in two categories: Common Merit List and Category 2 Merit List (for PG courses only). All candidates will be considered in the Common Merit List (CML). However, for Category 2 Merit List (C2ML), only students who have graduated from Delhi University will be considered for admission to PG programs based on merit in the qualifying examination
Step 5: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission
After the declaration of the merit list, candidates must log into the CSAS dashboard and accept the allocated seats. If multiple seats are offered in one round, candidates can accept only one.
Once the candidate accepts the provisionally Allocated Seat, the concerned Department/ Centre/ College will approve the seat allotment by checking eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate.
Upon approval of the seat allotment by the concerned Department/ Centre/ College, candidates will have to pay the admission fee to confirm the admission.

The overall cutoff marks for General Category Students for CUET ranges between 214 - 859. BA (Hons.)
