Faculty of Architecture - Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University admission to all affiliated institutes offering architectural courses is based on a state-level entrance exam called the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) to provide admission.

For B.Arch. and M.Plan, candidates will be admitted based on UPSEE/ JEE Mains/ NATA scores. 

For M.Arch, candidates will be admitted based onUPSEE/GATE scores. 

For Ph.D. admissions, UGC NET scores are considered.

Ans. In AKTU, reserved categories are given certain concessions in college fees in terms of Fee waiver and scholarship given by the UP government for UPSEE/AKTU.

Ques. What are the entrance exams accepted by the AKTU Faculty of Architecture?

Ans. Candidates seeking admission to the BArch, M. Arch, or M. Plan programme in this university must have a valid score for UPSEE clearance. M.Arch applicants who have a valid GATE score are also eligible for direct programme admission. This university also provides research courses (P. HD) as well.

The classroom is well maintained and the hygiene condition is maintained with appropriate electrical services. There is a great library with a good collection of books, including both old and new and some of the important books. The Bank of the Book is a bonus. A fitness gym with modern equipment and a sports club for games and other activities are also available in the hostel. In the canteen and mess, the quality of the food provided is a little above average. With neatness and sufficient space, the hostel rooms are well-equipped with daily requirements.
