About the Institution

COEP Technological University, formerly known as College of Engineering Pune (COEP) is one of the oldest public engineering institutes in India, established in 1854. The institute is approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC with an A+ grade. According to the rankings 2026, MyKollege has ranked it 40th in India for the B.Tech program, and the MBA at COEP secured 123rd rank in India. COEP offers B.Tech as the most popular program. Admission to the B.Tech program is based on MHT-CET scores (Maharashtra quota) for which 80% of the seats have been reserved. 20% seats are reserved for admission through JEE Main (All India Quota). Final admission is based on CAP counselling. Total fees for the B.Tech program are INR 6.06 Lakhs on admission through MHT-CET. COEP Pune does not allot seats for direct admission. MHT-CET cutoff 2025 for the B.Tech program ranged between the 98.41 - 99.9 percentiles. While the JEE Main cutoff ranged between 8088 and 59081 for the General category. COEP Technolog
