Both College of Vocational Studies and Maitreyi College are reputed colleges under DU. CVS is more known for its vocational studies, whereas Maitreyi is more known for its arts and commerce studies. • The environment and the crowd here is warm and welcoming.
• MAC on the other hand is known for its best courses BBE and B.Com. 
• MAC also has a proper and well maintained infrastructure.
• MAC conducts classes 6 days a week whereas CVS conducts 5 days a week.
• In MAC the student crowd is divided into groups and does not possess unity like CVS.

Lastly, the fest organized at CVS is amazing. You will get to see the performances of Musical groups and bands like The Local Train, etc. The CVS fest is so good it is often compared to the fest of IIT Delhi called Rendezvous.
