RMLIMS, also known as Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Science, was established in 2006. It is affiliated with King George's Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, and is recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). In 2025, MyKollege ranked it 61 in India & 5 in Uttar Pradesh for the Medical Category.

RMLIMS offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate programs, which lead to one primary degree: MBBS. For admission to the MBBS program candidates must have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with an aggregate of 50% marks (40% for reserved category) from a recognised board and need to appear for NEET entrance exam, followed by the counselling process conducted by the MCC for All India Quota & Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) for State Quota. In 2024, RMLIMS NEET Cutoff overall rank for the general category was 2683. The total fee for the MBBS program is INR 1.82 Lakhs.

RMLIMS placement is usually not released. As per student reviews on MyKollege, the internship stipend ranged from INR 10,000 to 16,000 per month, with a placement rate of 100%.
