Government college is situated in Mandya, a Very famous city in south Karnataka. Karnataka is famous all over the world through the Krishnaraja Sagar reservoir. In the vision of Vishweshwarayavanavari's Mandya got priority in Education as a result the University Of Mysore established in 1916. In 1971 college got opportunities to build well-equipped classrooms, labs, trial schools, and wild range of faculty under the direction of the government. Currently, the college operated under the jurisdiction of the University of Mysore.
