Kakatiya Medical College popularly known as KMC, warangal is a government medical College established in 1959. KMC warangal is affilated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences(KNRUHS), Warangal. The college is approved by National Medical Commision. Admission to MBBS and MD/MS is based on the scores in the NEET UG and NEET PG, followed by the NEET Counselling for 85% of MBBS and 50% of PG Seats under the State Quota by KNRUHS, while for 15% of MBBS and 50% of PG Seats under the All-India Quota, conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
