National Institute of Technology Mizoram, popularly known as NIT Mizoram, was established in 2010 and is an autonomous institute in India. It is accredited by the AICTE and NBA. In 2025, MyKollege ranked it 121 in the engineering category, while NIRF ranked it. The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs in several specialisations. BTech is the flagship program offered at NIT Mizoram. For admission to the B.Tech program, candidates must have passed 10+2 in science stream, with minimum of 75%. Students are selected based on JEE Main scores, followed by JoSAA counselling. For 2025, NIT Mizoram JEE Main cutoff rank for general category from ranged from 801 - 51,888. The total fee for the BTech program is INR 6 Lakhs. NIT Mizoram Placement Report 2026 has not been released yet.
