About the Institution

National Sanskrit University is a central university located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. It was established in 2020 through the Central Sanskrit Universities Act. The university was earlier known as Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, which was founded in 1961 to promote Sanskrit education and preserve traditional Indian knowledge. RSV Tirupati has been accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC and recognized by the UGC as a Centre of Excellence in Traditional Shastras. National Sanskrit University Courses include Sastri (BA), Acharya (MA), B.Ed, M.Ed, PhD, Diploma, and Certificate programs in Sanskrit and traditional Shastra disciplines.
