Nehru Gram Bharati University is a private deemed-to-be university established in 1996 by Shri G.D. Memorial Trust. The university is also known as NGBU, located in Allahabad (Now Prayagraj). It has been accredited by NAAC with a B+ grade and approved by the UGC. NGBU has AICTE-approved 60 seats each in MBA, MCA, BBA, and 120 seats in BCA. NGBU offers UG, PG, Diploma, and PhD courses. B.Ed. and LL.M. are the flagship programs offered by Nehru Gram Bharati University. For the first time, NGBU launches a four-year integrated Special & Inclusive Teacher Education program (BA-B.Ed., BSc-B.Ed., BCom-B.Ed.), officially approved by RCI. NGBU's LL.M. program requires an LL.B. (3-year/5-year) with a minimum of 50% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD). Admission is merit-driven based on qualifying scores and, in some cases, CUET-UG/PG performance. Nehru Gram Bharati University placement data for 2025 has not yet been released.
