Silicon University (formerly Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar) is a private technical university in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Established in 2001, the institution was upgraded to full university status on 31 January 2024 by the Government of Odisha. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), holds UGC Autonomous Status (granted in 2018), and is accredited by NAAC with Grade A. Its undergraduate engineering programmes hold NBA accreditation.
