Candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline are eligible to apply for the MBA, MBA BA, and MBA HR programs. The total course fee for all MBA programs at IIM Amritsar is INR 21.5 lakhs. The CAT percentile cutoff for shortlisting is 90; whereas the actual percentile can go up till 95 percentile.The admission process includes the following steps-

Step 2: Candidates shortlisted based on their CAT percentiles will be considered in the preparation of the Pre-PI scores. Step 3: IIM Amritsar MBA Selection Criteria: Personal Interview

The shortlisted candidates are called for the personal interview rounds, where the panellists evaluate the candidates’ academic background, quality of work experience, and other personal traits.
After the interview, the Post-PI score of each candidate is calculated based on various parameters that include the PI score, work experience, gender diversity, and academic diversity. The formula to calculate the score is–

Aggregate Score = 0.7* Pre-PI Score + 0.3 * Post-PI Score

The final ranking list of candidates for admission to the MBA 2025 program will be based on the aggregate score mentioned above.

IIM Amritsar offers a 2-year EMBA (Executive MBA) program in a non-residential hybrid mode. The selection process of IIM Amritsar is divided into 3 stages:
