DRC Application Process 2025
Step 1: Register for the Entrance Examination
Daulat Ram College admissions to all UG & PG courses are based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. To apply for admission, candidates must register for the following entrance examinations, linked below.
UG Programs- CUET UG
PG Programs- CUET PG
Candidates applying for CUET must select Delhi University while filling out the application form. Additionally, they must choose subjects for which they have appeared or qualified in the last qualifying exam.
Step 2: Appear for the Entrance Exam
Candidates who filled out the application form must appear for the entrance examination as per the schedule.
Step 3: Registration on DU CSAS Portal and Filling of Courses and College Preferences
Candidates who have qualified for the entrance examinations register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University for the DRC DU seat allotment. Once the registration is done, candidates will be asked to fill in their college and course preferences.
Step 4: Seat Allocation
The seat allocation for all courses will be done in multiple rounds. Delhi University is going to release the merit lists in two categories: Common Merit List and Category 2 Merit List (for PG courses only). The Common Merit List (CML) is open to all candidates. However, for the Category 2 Merit List (C2ML), only students who have graduated from Delhi University will be considered for admission to PG programs.
Step 5: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission
Upon declaration of the merit list, candidates can check the list by logging in to their CSAS dashboard for acceptance of the allocated seat, if offered.
Once a seat has been allocated to DRC DU in a particular round, the candidate must 'Accept' the allocated seat before the last date/time in a given time period.
Once the candidate accepts the provisionally allocated seat, the college administration will approve the seat allotment by checking the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate. Upon approval of the seat allotment by the college, candidates will have to pay the DRC DU admission fee to confirm their seat.

DRC provides a lot of facilities for the students by building a technology-friendly environment in various locations on the campus. The provided facilities are:
Laboratories: DRC is proud to offer well-equipped and meticulously managed laboratories to support all science courses, including Biochemistry, Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Zoology. In addition, the Departments of Nutrition & Health Education, Mathematics, Commerce and Psychology maintain separate, fully equipped laboratories tailored to their specialised needs.
Library: Library and Reading Room facilities are open only to students and staff of the college. The College Library possesses an excellent collection of more than 1,20,000 books and journals/ periodicals. The Library is completely digitalized with the latest software. The library boasts of a separate Braille Section with software.
Canteen: The College canteen offers a varied menu at subsidised rates. The College Canteen provides healthy and nutritious food for students. A range of cuisines is freshly and hygienically prepared and made available for breakfast and lunch. Apart from cooked choices, students can buy branded packaged snacks too.
Rangshala: The open-air amphitheatre, namely Rangshala, offers a stage to the young students to hone their talent, communication and performing skills. It has been witness to many famous events and has provided a forum to many burgeoning artists. It is the perfect spot for nukkad natak, societies' practice, and dance performances. It has been a venue for hoisting the national flag during Republic Day and Independence Day celebrations.
Medical Room: DRC prioritises the health and well-being of its students by offering comprehensive medical facilities on campus. The college maintains a dedicated medical room staffed by an attendant nurse, providing first aid and addressing minor health concerns. For more serious medical needs, students have access to the World University Health Service at a nominal annual fee.
Banking Facilities: DRC is committed to providing its students and staff with convenient and efficient banking services within the campus. The college hosts a branch of the Indian Overseas Bank, known as the University Branch, which caters to a variety of banking needs, including account management, fund transfers, and other essential financial services.
Computer Labs: DRC offers well-equipped and modern Computer Labs to support students in their academic and research pursuits. The main computer lab houses 38 computers, catering to students across different disciplines. Additionally, there is a dedicated computer lab for Commerce and Mathematics students, which is equipped with 25 computers with full internet connectivity to support their specialised academic needs.
