Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC Pune), established in 1948, is a public institute located in Pune, Maharashtra. AMFC Pune is the first medical institute set up by the Armed Forces of any Asian country, affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, and approved by NMC for UG and PG courses. AFMC is a top-rated medical institute with a CGPA of 3.45, and it is accredited with a NAAC ‘A+’.

• AFMC Pune ranked 46th in the Medical category as per MyKollege 2025 and ranked 30th in the medical category as per NIRF 2024.
• AFMC Pune offers 73 courses across 44 specialisations in full-time mode. The popular Armed Forces Medical College programs include B.Sc., M.Sc., MD, MS, and DM. Armed Forces Medical College courses are provided in various streams such as Medicine & Health Sciences and Nursing.
• AFMC Pune offers MBBS as its most popular program; the candidate should have scored 50% in 10+2 with PCB. The final selection of candidates is based on their NEET-UG scores,and the merit List submitted by MCC, the lists of candidates shortlisted for screening process (ToELR, PAT, Interview, Medical Exam) to be conducted at AFMC, Pune. followed by MCC Counselling. The total intake for 2025 is 150 seats (115 boys and 30 girls).
• AFMC Pune Cutoff: AFMC Pune MBBS 2025 cutoff marks for the screening process are 535/720 for boys and 559/720 for girls.
• AFMC Pune Placement Report 2025 has not been released yet. According to the institute’s NIRF Report 2024, 106 UG students were placed in 2022. AFMC Pune median package was offered at INR 14.20 LPA. In 2023, 161 PG students were placed successfully. The median package recorded for PG placements was INR 19.7 LPA.
