Chhattisgarh Pre MCA

The examination is an objective, multiple choice paper written in a single sitting. It generally assesses mathematics at the level expected of a graduate applicant, computer awareness and basic concepts of computing, logical and analytical reasoning, and English language ability, so that a candidate's preparedness for a master's programme in computer applications can be judged. The number of questions, the duration, the medium of the question paper and the marking scheme, including any deduction for wrong answers, are stated in the official information brochure for that cycle. Results are issued as scores and ranks. Admission then runs through the centralised counselling conducted by the state authority, in which qualified candidates register, fill and order choices of colleges, are allotted seats in rounds on merit and category, complete document verification and pay the fee. Participating institutions include university departments and affiliated colleges across the state, as listed in the counselling brochure.
