Overview
XIC OET 2026: The XIC Entrance Test (XET) 2026 will be conducted online on 12th, 18th and 19th April 2026, with Zoom interviews scheduled for 24th, 25th, and 26th April 2026. The exam date and time will be mentioned in the admit card provided upon registration, and login credentials will be shared via email before the allotted slot. The final list of selected candidates will be announced tentatively on 4th May 2026, at 4 p.m. on the official website.
Selected candidates must pay their course fees by 15th May 2026, 4 p.m., following the payment procedure available on the website. A Wait List will be released on 16th May 2026, at 4 p.m., and candidates from this list must complete their fee payment by 26th May 2026, 4 p.m. Failure to pay the fees within the stipulated period will result in forfeiture of the seat, which will then be offered to the next candidate on the Wait List.

XIC OET 2026 Selection Process
Student’s selection in the particular course is based on the Group Discussion/ Personal Interview/ Skype Interview. Those students who qualify for the Skype Video Interview/ Personal Interview will be intimated by the test supervisor immediately on the completion of online test.
Candidates will have to wait for at least an added hour till the Skype video takes place. Depending on the course students need to appear for either group discussion or interview.

XIC OET 2026 Counselling
All the students will be called for counselling, who have successfully cleared the entrance examination for their final selection. Syllabus
XIC OET Exam Pattern 2025 comprises two sections. Part A will be objective and Part B will comprise subjective questions. Total duration will be 120 minutes i.e. one hour for Part A and one hour for Part B. The objective section carries 100 marks, including questions based on general knowledge, language and media. The subjective section carries three questions of total 100 marks and questions will include essay writing, creative writing and opinion piece.
Xavier Institute of Communications Mumbai conducts the XIC OET i.e. Online Entrance Test to screen the candidates for admission into Post-graduate Diploma Courses being offered by it in the field of mass communication. XIC OET 2025 is scheduled on April 5,6,7 and 13, 2025.

XIC OET 2025 Important Points
All the important information related to exam is given below
- The test will be conducted in online mode i.e. computer-based test (CBT).
- The exam duration will be 90minutes.
- The question paper will have two parts, namely subjective and objective.
- The objective part will have 100 questions of 100 marks.
- The subjective part of the question paper will be of 50 marks.
- Total marks for the exam will be 150.
- After qualifying the CBT, candidates will be called to appear for an interview.

XIC OET 2025 Important Instructions
Appearing candidates should follow the important instruction provided below
- In order to utilize the time in an efficient way, the candidates are advised to solve the easy and direct questions first as these questions won’t take much time to be answered.
- Candidates need to attach the same passport size photograph on the admit card as will be uploaded on the application form.
- All the examinees must carry a printed copy of the downloaded call letter along with a photo id proof, in original.
- Candidates can carry any of the photo id proofs (Aadhar card, passport, pan card, etc.).
