Asudev Art Scholarship

• Initially only one scholarship of Rs.50,000/- Rupees fifty thousand) annually is earmarked for either a Boy or a Girl student domicile of Assam, pursuing Masters in Visual Arts in any stream (Painting/Applied Art/ Sculpture/Graphics) and enrolled as a regular student in any Fine Arts College or University in India, and is accredited by UGC and the Government of India. • The award winner will be selected on his/her Merit for Academic and Artistic performances and individual Achievements at the qualifying examination. • Initially the One time Scholarship valued at Rs. 50,000/- Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) and for a period of only one year, beginning from 13 December 2017. • The scholarship will be presented at a commemorative ceremony on 13 December every year to mark the birth anniversary of Artist ASUDEV and will be held at the Gauhati Artists’ Guild, Chandmari Guwahati 781 003 Assam India or any other public place as may be decided by the ASUDEV ART FOUNDATION and Gauhati Artists’ Guild. • The scholarship shall also carry a commendation certificate, a plague/memento and the scholarship amount* and will be presented to the awardee at a function. The awardee must attend the award function to receive the award, personally. In no case shall the award be transferred to any other person other than the awardee. • The scholarship amount will be paid through an electronic transfer to the Bank Account of the Award winner or paid through an A/c payee cheque or draft.
