About this Scholarship

CFA-Chartered Financial Analyst The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam is a self-study, three year program designed for professionals in the stock market industry. In order to become a CFA, one must pass three levels of exams. Training courses and study guides for the various levels are available online. As mentioned above, this program takes at least three years to complete. In order to be eligible the following requirements must be met: The candidate must have a U.S. bachelor?s degree or the equivalent or must be in last year of the bachelor’s degree program, or have at least 4 years of qualified, professional work experience, or the candidate may have a combination of work and college experience that totals at least four years. In addition, the candidate must meet the professional conduct admission criteria. This occurs during the application process where candidates are asked to sign statements of Professional Conduct and Candidate Responsibility. Also, candidates must be able to take the exam in English. Lastly, candidates must enroll for their first exam. In essence, registering for the exam will also enroll the candidate in the CFA program. This requires a program enrollment fee as well as the current exam fee.
