CSIR DIAMOND JUBILEE RESEARCH INTERNS AWARDS National Environmental Engineering Research Institute CSIR DIAMOND JUBILEE RESEARCH INTERNS AWARDS National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), established in 1958, with headquarters at Nagpur and six Zonal Laboratories across the country, is one of the constituent laboratories of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), the premier multidiscipline R&D organization in India. The institute is engaged in Research & Development in the areas of Environmental (Air, Water and Land) Monitoring : Environmental Biotechnology; Solid and Hazardous Waste Management; Environmental System Design, Modelling & Optimization; Environmental Impact & Risk Assessment ; and Environmental Policy Analysis. NEERI invites applications for Five (5) dynamic and motivated “RESEARCH INTERNS” under CSIR Diamond Jubilee Research Interns Awards Scheme. This gives an opportunity to: * Work on modern state-of-art R&D facilities. * Imbibe the spirit of R & D by jostling with role models. * Gain from knowledge & experience of accomplished scientists. * Develop capabilities in R&D related issues such as IP management research planniing and marketing of knowledge, S&T HRD, etc. * Train Inter-laboratory research in Inter-disciplinary area of science and engineeriing.
