Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences-PRE MEDICAL ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (PMEE) 2011 HIHT UNIVERSITY, (Established under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956) Swami Ram Nagar, P.O Doiwala, Dehradun 248140 Uttarakhand Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences PRE MEDICAL ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (PMEE) 2011 HIHT University invites application from eligible candidates for admission in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Course offered by its Medical College (Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences) for 100 seats for the Academic Year 2011- 2012, out of which 30% seats are reserved exclusively for the domicile candidates of Uttarakhand. Scholarships to 05 (five) of the domicile candidates of Uttarakhand, who have passed their 10+2 examination from hill district of Uttarakhand and are willing to serve the people of Uttarakhand after completion of MBBS course, are available based on meeting the eligibility criteria of HIHT University on the subject. ELIGIBILITY: Age: Only those candidates, whose date of birth (ails on or before 31 ; December, 1994 (minimum 17 years of age as on 31″ December, 2011) are eligible to apply. Oniy Date of Birth recorded in the High Schooi/I.C.S.E. or its equivalent certificate will be accepted. The upper age limit shall be 25 years as on 31/12/2011. Minimum Qualification: The candidate must have passed the 10+2, i.e.C.B.S.E./I.S.C/lntermediate board examination or its equivalent, after a period of 12 years of study, the last two years of such study, comprising of Physics, Chemistry,Biology /Biotechnology and English from a recognized Board. The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 60% (For SC/ST/OBC candidates 50%) marks in aggregate taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology and atieast 50% (For SC/ST/OBC candidates 40%) marks separately in each of the above subject in the qualifying examination.
