Govt, of India) P.O.: Sainik School, Bhubaneswar -751 005, Odisha, India One-Year Pre-doctoral Program from GATE and CSIR – UGCTest (NET) qualified candidates Institute of Physics. Bhubaneswar is an autonomous research institute of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. The research activity in the Institute centers around the areas of theoretical and experimental condensed matter physics, nuclear physics and high energy physics. The Institute conducts a one-year Pre-doctoral program. The successful candidates join the doctoral program leading to Ph.D degree. The Institute invites application for One-Year Pre-doctoral Program from GATE and CSIR – UGCTest (NET) qualified candidates, who satisfy the following criteria : (A) M.Sc. in Physics with minimum 55% marks (in aggregate) (B) GATE qualifiers with minimum score of 95 percentile having current validity or, CSIR-UGCTest (NET) for Junior Research Fellowship qualifiers within last one year. Candidates who have qualified JEST-2012 with a minimum score of 35 marks need not send any application. They will be contacted directly by the Institute. If a qandidate has scored less than 35 marks in JEST-2012 but satisfies any of the criteria for GATE/NET as above, he/she should also send the application.
