Institute Of Forest Genetics And Tree Breeding Institute Of Forest Genetics And Tree breeding Junior Research Fellow Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow(JRF) on purely temporary basis for a period of three years to work in a project entitled “Development of Agroforestry Plantations with Medicinal Plants and Trees for Conservation,Propagation and Utilization.” Essential Qualification : First Class M.Sc., degree in Forestry/Horticulture/Agriculture (Soil Science). Work Experience : Experience in Nursery technology particularlyfor medicinal plants and trees, conducting on-farm trials, crop and soil management. Nature of Work: Nursery establishment, raise quality seedlings of medicinal plants and trees,establishment of agroforestry models in farm fields, periodical monitoring and evaluation of plantations, periodical collection and analysis of data. compilation of report etc., Total emoluments : Rs.8000/- per month (consolidated including HRA) Mzximum age limit: Upper age limit shall be 28 years as on 10.06.2004, which is relaxable upto 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST.
