About this Scholarship
The All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health offers a Master of Engineering (Public Health) course, a 2-year program starting from July 1st, 2005. The course is designed for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent, recognized by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences.
Candidates sponsored by Central, State, Local Government, and Semi-Government Organizations will receive priority in admission. Sponsored candidates can obtain the application form from the Director, All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health, or from CPHEEO, Ministry of Urban Development and Poverty Alleviation, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi.
Non-sponsored/private candidates can also apply for admission. Government/Semi-Government sponsored outstation candidates approved by CPHEEO may be eligible for a stipend of Rs.2,000/- per mensem from CPHEEO. However, there is no provision for stipend for non-Governmental sponsored candidates.
