Sl.No : 1 Name of Fellowship : Junior Research Fellow No.of Positions: Three Qualification and Experience : Essential Qualification: Masters degree in Geophysics / Geology. Preference will be given to NET / GATE qualified candidates. Desirable : (i) Experience in seismic, gravity and magnetic data processing and interpretation.(ii) Knowledge of scientific computing and programming in FORTRAN, C, C++ etc., (iii) Knowledge of geophysics data processing/interpretation software and GIS. Nature of Responsibility:(i) Processing and interpretation of various marine geophysical data including seismic, gravity and magnetic9ii) Understanding of inverse problem in geophysics. Emoluments: Rs.8000/- p.m. + HRA admissible as per GOI rules. Age Limit: Not more than 28 years. Tenure: Initially for one year, which is extendable depending upon performance of the candidate selected and the requirement of the Project.
