Panasonic Scholarship Program 2018 DESCRIPTION Guide to Application for 2018 Rati Chhattr Panasonic Scholarship in India “For Graduate Studies in IITs” Panasonic Scholarship Office will accept applications from the students getting admission into graduate studies of IITs in year 2018 under Rati Chhattr Panasonic Scholarship program 2018 as per the terms and conditions stated below.. 1. Application-related Eligibility A student from low income group whose family cannot fund for his/her studies and wishes to pursue a graduate (B.E/B.Tech) course from Indian Institutes of Technology in India, should meet the following requirements:- 1. Nationality – Applicants must be citizens of India. 2. New Admissions – Only candidates for the 18-22 batch are eligible to apply. 3. Family Income – Candidate should be from low income group or his/her family Income is not sufficient enough to fund his/her graduate (B.E/B.Tech) studies at IIT. 4. Educational Background -for IIT graduate (B.E/B.Tech) Course- Applicants must have cleared his Higher Secondary exam or are awaiting their final results and have a distinguished academic record and must have completed 14 years of school education or have been accepted as eligible for enrollment at the targeted Engineering Colleges. 5. Admission letter – Only Candidates with admission letter and first semester fee receipt will be eligible for the scholarship. Scholarship Numbers -Number of Students to be accepted Not more than 30 (Thirty) students for FY18-19 program. Assistance and Scholarship – Scholarship assistance of INR 42,500 per year per student for four years to cover their tuition fees. 2. Time Lines: 1st June, 2018 – Notification of Scholarship on the site 1st June – 16th Aug’2018 – Candidates admitted in IITs to Submit the Application form either online or through post along with other supporting documents 18th – 19th August’18 – Notification to candidates for interview rounds. 22nd – 23rd August’18 – Skype Interview with Panasonic 2
